How do you surf the web?
Some time back I started using FireFox, mainly because it had built in pop-up blocking. But I have noticed that web sites have figured out how to get by that, and FireFox occasionally lets some get through. I hate pop-ups unless they are a direct and intentional action related to a request I have made through the web page.
Internet Explorer on XP SP2 now has pop-up blocking, and it seems to work quite well. Not sure if I am going to be switching back to IE yet, but I do like that about it. The main feature that is holding me to FireFox is the tabbed browsing. I have gotten used to that, and really like it.

Firefox!
I love the tabs. Nothing like right-clicking a link and selecting "Open in new tab" for perusal later. I need to replace one extension that got left behind in the last upgrade. It let you save entire collections of tabs and name them. So when I was doing research I could group them together and the next day click one thing to open all the pages in different tabs. VERY nice.
I love how it stores bookmarks (makes it easier to share and sync bookmarks. I actually FTP it to my website regularly so even if I'm at someone else's computer, they're all available!)
I love the extensions. E.g., the proxy manager which allows me to switch between home an work with a click rather than a bunch of IE dialogs.
I love the web developer extension which allows me to debug things like cookies (came in REAL handy at work one time to solve a problem the vendor techs couldn't).
I'm not really having any problem with pop-ups, but I was using the one that came with the Google bar in IE even before IE had that feature.
I still keep IE around since there is some stuff that is adamant about that.

Yepper, Firefox is a nice browser but the interface is too much like Netscape. IE XPsp2 is a great product in my book but with this program www.zonelabs.com/store/content/home.jsp I can use pretty whatever I want. If you want total protection I dont think there is anything that can compare.

If you want total protection I dont think there is anything that can compare. You can make Firefox look anyway that you like using themes that are downloadable, so that really isn't an issue. It also has much more flexibility and functionality, so for that reason I still prefer it. I am just a little bugged when the occasional pop-up gets through.
