;D OK, I thought the GSAK was cool, and now I've found another option. This one involves a little more "setting up," but it is worth it. Here is the link to UTOPIA: home.earthlink.net/~msargent2/ch/This is a terrific cache organizing system that lets you do some terrific things. When it is set up, you can even download to your GPSr. The one thing that GSAK does do now is allow you to veiw offline cache pages generated from the database. UTOPIA is slated to have this function for the next release (already in beta). Wonder what I'll find next

Now if I could just get that to happen to a Garmin Should work with Garmin and Lowrance units! You have to use another program (g7toWin), which really started out life as a way to get info into Garmin GPSrs. Prime Suspect does a good job of walking you through the set up, and I was able to send wpts to my GPSr and DeLorme's Tennessee 3-D Topoquads software. g7toWin is also set up for MapSource (for Garmin folks), hopefully it will support MapSend someday. Try it out! Just have a copy of the directions handy (computer will need to re-boot at the end of UTOPIA install). This might make a neat meeting topic someday; a session on how to set this stuff up and use it .
