Just noticed that since the proboard upgrade, when we click on an emoticon or a bb-code shortcut key (color, bold, etc) that it puts it at the end of our reply-text, but it also repeats the quote?!?! Anybody else noticed this? Any known solution? We have observed this on several different browsers; IE, Safari, FireFox and Mozilla...

Anybody else noticed this? Any known solution? We have observed this on several different browsers; IE, Safari, FireFox and Mozilla... There have been several weird things happen with proboards in both the previous and current versions. I am currently inplementing and testing a new forum that will be integrated directly into the the main web page. This board is programmed in .php, and will have some distinct benefits. The primary benefit is that we will "own" our own messages, and they will not be on someone elses server without access. The downside of making a switch like this is that virtually none of our current messages can be transferred to the new forum. That stinks, but may be necessary for us to have a stable and scaleable board. I will be starting a new thread for further discussion about a new board, and to see what interest people have after weighing the pros and cons.

Ahhh the agony of decision... ;D The limitations of a canned solution, the flexibility of a custom package, the convenience of a prepackage tool, and the time-sucking maintenance when you do-it-yourself.
