On this one, for me, bigger is better. 1024x768 is a minimum because smaller than that and many web pages will have you scrolling left and right - that stinks.
On my PC I run 1280 x 1024 and on my laptop I run a wide screen @ 1440 x 900.

OneStat.com reported in June of last year the following: The most popular screen resolutions on the web in the world are: 1. 1024 x 768 54.02% 2. 800 x 600 24.66% 3. 1280 x 1024 14.1% 4. 1152 x 864 4% 5. 640 x 480 0.6% 6. 1600 x 1200 0.8% 7. 1152 x 870 0.1% The screen resolution 1024 x 768 has reached an all time high and has risen from 48.3 percent in June 2003 to 54.02 percent. Now a year later it is probably well over 60 percent. Around 1995 17" CRT monitors began being the standard size monitor to ship with new systems, with the native resolution being 1024x768. Today the trend is moving toward LCD displays, with 17" receiving the majority of the market. Most 17" LCD screens have a native resolution of 1280x1024, and this will soon be the fastest growing resolution, if it isn't already.

1600x1200 with a browser pane of about 1024x768 (FireFox). Sorry for the late reply but it was only letting admins post.

Rick, Play around with this code and tell me when it's in there. I will check it out and tell you if it works or not on different screen sizes.
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> <!--
window.moveTo(0, 0) window.resizeTo(screen.width, screen.height)
//--> </SCRIPT>

The only problem is that the right edge of the Google block is over the edge of the border and some of the text over-runs the border. I think that is because the Google block is next to the weather block.. Of course, if I make my window larger, that isn't a problem. I sent a screen shot to Rick, but I can't figure out how to do that here. FYI... (I'm using Firefox browser.)

OK, I think that I have it worked out so it will be satisfactory - even for the 800x600 folk I had to move the Google all the way to the bottom - it didn't look right anywhere else. Then I had to allow the weather graphic to span both table columns for the 800x600 people.
